This is my dear friend and fellow photographer, Evgenia Eliseeva. We met at Jerry Ghionis‘ workshop in Paris last year (where I took this photo), became instant friends and had all sorts of crazy adventures in Paris. She’s a remarkably talented person and I feel honored to be her friend.

Carrie was one of my very first subjects as a professional photographer. I haven’t looked through the images from that shoot for a couple of years and it was kind of cool to go back and see that my style of shooting really hasn’t changed much since then. My technique and my skills have improved by leaps and bounds, but the images still feel the same. And I’m really proud of that.

My goal is to post something on this site every day. I’ve got a bunch of weddings in the pipeline that I’ll post soon, but I really want to give you something new to look at every day. So, this is Yolanda. I and a few other photographers had the opportunity to shoot Yolanda in Tampa, FL when we were there last year for the PPA and DWF photography conventions. Isn’t she gorgeous?

I love autumn in NYC. I really, REALLY love autumn in NYC. I love everything about it – the gorgeous leaves, the crispness in the air, the smells, the way the whole city seems to just glow, everything. I especially love the sunsets. I shot this outside my window a few moments ago. Stunning, isn’t it?
