Quite possibly my favorite thing in the entire city to shoot. This is an older photo, but one of my faves. Shot in the dead of winter and there was just something about the light that cast all these wonderful colors everywhere.
This is my dear friend and fellow photographer, Evgenia Eliseeva. We met at Jerry Ghionis‘ workshop in Paris last year (where I took this photo), became instant friends and had all sorts of crazy adventures in Paris. She’s a remarkably talented person and I feel honored to be her friend.
Carrie was one of my very first subjects as a professional photographer. I haven’t looked through the images from that shoot for a couple of years and it was kind of cool to go back and see that my style of shooting really hasn’t changed much since then. My technique and my skills have improved...
